** spoiler alert ** I enjoyed this book. It was much different from the other time travel books I've read. It was much more science fiction with the emphasis on the science. All the travels were done to verify moments in history or recover artifacts. A pod is the means of time travel, and each pod has a captain, engineer and documentarian. We learn that there is a whole different species of humans living below the surface of the earth, and people like us on the surface. We also learn that the below ground species moved there thousands of years ago to survive a solar flair. We also learn there will be another solar flair in 80 years, but there isn't enough room for the current above ground population to move underground. What happens next is exciting as the pod crew try to save the world from destruction. The only complaint I have about this book is that Carter, the documentarian and newest member of the crew, seems to be the only one to come up with ideas for saving the planet. She isn't the smartest or most scientific, but seems to be the most optimisticProduct details

For the younger set, I would say that it was written for students about 12 to 15 years old. I liked the revue but after getting book I found that it was written for the younger set and had to finish it. It was well written and had a new twist. Easy to follow and keep up with. I liked it and would recommend it.
Time travel novels have a tendency to have issues dealing with causality. This author seems to have solved that issue and also solves the big bang problems. Very fun and clever, I would highly recommend this book. Lots of fun.
Oh..... I'm breathless! This story grabs you and won't let you go!
The characters are so very Real! The interaction of same makes the reader part of the story! I'm loving it! Can't wait for the next in this series! I received this ebook in exchange for an honest review. If you love Time Travel stories, this book is for You!
Having read many time travel sci-fi books before, I thought this one might fall in to the same old traps, but it didn't. The author's ability to draw in the reader with the right dose of science and fiction kept the reading very enjoyable. The incorporation of many different "conspiracy" theories (*** Spoiler Alertthe Hollow Earth Theory, the UFO's supposedly seen by Buzz Aldrin and Neil during the moon landing, the Black Knight Satellite, etc.***) and have all of them be due to people from our future traveling to our past was a nice new take. With the open ending, I'm definitely looking forward to any sequels that may be in store for us.
Great read. Interesting, captivating story full of twists and turns. Some parts made me laugh out loud. The characters were realistic .
Probably one of the most accessible time travel books. I was hooked from the first chapter. Some of the so called discoveries were a little too easily uncovered and a "lot" of the science was hidden but heh that made it easier to read so I can't complain.
The main characters are very likeable, if a little one dimensional but story fairly fizzed along. I make it sound like it was easy to write but there are many many well thought out ideas in this book,showing that the author knows his stuff.
I have to admit that I bought this ebook because it was a sci fi novel under $10. Based on the title, I thought it would be old fashioned or sophomoric. But I was willing to give it a try and I’m glad I did. As is true of most science fiction, one has to give up one’s own beliefs and try to get comfortable with those of the author.
The author crafts a story line around the main character which is the Earth itself. There are three well developed human characters Bill, Carter and Sue. Werden makes their military funded trips back and forth in time seem logical. In flashbacks we learn what motivates them and why they work well together. Plus there is a little romance.
Just when one settles in with this plot, the author throws in a group of advanced people living inside Earth for 400,000 years. And why should we care?! Believe me, you will. There are several more unexpected twists to this book that make it difficult to put down. Enjoy.
